  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix!
  5. Fold in chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
  6. Pour and spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan (I used a 9x13in pan).
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

  • Be careful not to overbake the brownies! They keep cooking once they are out of the oven and harden a lot as they cool.
  • Let the brownies cool before you taste them; for some reason the flavor is not as good when they are still warm!

I really like this recipe because it is healthier than traditional recipes that use vegetable oil. The brownies are more “cake-like”, but equally as delicious!
