I N G R E D I E N T S
- 4-6 overripe bananas
(mashed) - ¾ cup melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips

R E C I P E
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans with butter and line with parchment on top.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Place the bananas in the bowl of your standing mixer. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Add the baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until combined.
- Add the flour gradually. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide evenley into the loaf pans.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean and the tops are golden brown.
- Let cool for 10-15 minutes then remove from the pan by pulling up on the parchment paper.
T I P S
- You can substitute the brown sugar for maple syrup (about 3/4 cups).
- For this recipe, I used 6 overripe bananas and the bread turned out very gooey (which I personally like). But if you prefer a drier loaf, feel free to use less bananas!
- Don’t forget to customize your bread with any kind of nut or different kinds of chocolate!
