The puzzle principle

I spent months slowly completing a puzzle, adding a few pieces here and there whenever I had time. I finally finished it this weekend. And then it took me less than a minute to take the whole thing apart. It hit me how much more time and energy it took to build compared to how quickly it was undone. It really made me appreciate the hard work that goes into creating anything good in life, whether it be relationships, routines, or skills. It would definitely be easier to let go and just stop trying, but the building is what ends up meaning the most. So keep going, even if the sky pieces all look the same or if you’re convinced a piece is missing (hint: don’t forget to check under the puzzle).
